We all know how quickly Hamilton Pool fills up on weekends and holidays. Reimers Ranch is a great alternative to a Hamilton Pool adventure. Reimers Ranch Park is a well known, and well loved park with Pedernales River frontage, deep canyons and panoramic views of the Texas Hill Country.
Swimming, hiking, fishing, and much more bring visitors to this beautiful park. Rock climbing fans view Reimers Ranch Park as a destination with world class rock climbing.
The active local mountain biking community also enjoys the Park’s over 18 miles of trails through the classic Hill Country landscape. Local anglers have come to Reimers’ for generations to fish for white bass in the Pedernales River. There are guided tours Saturdays from October through April, including birding tours. These are included in the regular park entrance fee.
This spectacular park, in western Travis County, with almost 3 miles of continuous frontage along the Pedernales River, is the largest parkland acquisition in the history of the County. Stop by when Hamilton Pool is overcrowded, and enjoy everything the Park has to offer.
Don’t forget the other great destinations on Hamilton Pool road, including West Cave Preserve Park, and right here at Westcave Cellars Winery, just a few miles from Reimer’s Ranch Park.
